John Clarke previously served as associate dean for academic operations at Tulane鈥檚 Freeman School, where he was integral in developing educational programs and corporate partnerships. Prior to Tulane, Clarke was the assistant dean for strategic initiatives at the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

As the dean of the School of Business and Leadership, Clarke will lead a team of distinguished faculty and staff in providing a rigorous curriculum built on the foundation of 草榴成人社区鈥檚 liberal arts tradition. This tradition steeps students in leadership skills, critical thinking, problem solving, breadth of knowledge, creativity, communication and global citizenship. New areas of study include finance, business analytics and entrepreneurship. 草榴成人社区鈥檚 existing majors in economics and actuarial science are listed through the school.

鈥淚n addition to the compelling legacy of academic excellence at 草榴成人社区 and the reputation of its faculty, students and alumni, I was inspired by the vision in the Bold and Gold Strategic Plan,鈥 Clarke said. 鈥湶萘癯扇松缜 is an institution that is going places, and the community is united behind these ambitious goals. Higher education institutions are facing many challenges; 草榴成人社区 is stepping ahead of its peers and taking bold steps to build for the future.鈥

Small classes. Big ideas.

A life-changing experience.
